With over 21 years of experience as a Licensed Aesthetician, Paula Hu brings a wealth of expertise, passion, and dedication to her craft. After earning her AAS in Cosmetology from Honolulu Community College, she obtained her Cosmetology Certificate and Beauty Operator License, focusing her career on the art and science of aesthetics.
Paula’s professional journey spans years of advanced training, continuing education, and hands-on work in both day spas and medical spas. She further honed her skills as the sole Medical Aesthetician in the Kaiser Permanente Aesthetics Department in Honolulu, where she collaborated closely with plastic surgeons, dermatologists, and other medical professionals. This experience deepened her knowledge, broadened her perspective, and strengthened her commitment to delivering exceptional care.
In 2019, inspired by her diverse experiences, Paula founded Modern Aesthetics Hawaii with a clear vision: to create a performance-driven treatment experience in a soothing, relaxing atmosphere. Today, her practice reflects both her technical mastery and her dedication to helping clients look and feel their best.
